Hi,

Is anyone using Activesync 4.5 beta2 on their system.

On MS web site, it states it supports Bluetooth activesync, Bluetooth does not work in activesync 4.2 based on my expereince.

Questions:

  1. Is 4.5 beta 2 rock solid stable?
  2. does it fix the bluetooth issue?
  3. any other feedback?

Sincerely

Dave

I was in the ActiveSync beta before it went public and after, and it had no problems with Bluetooth for me.

By the way, Microsoft has released the official ActiveSync 4.5 now, no longer a beta.

When configuring Bluetooth make sure to create an "Incoming" or "Server" COM port, and on your PC use the Connection Settings on ActiveSync to associate the program with that port.

On your Pocket PC delete the pairing and create it again.

Also, check that no firewall is blocking ActiveSync. And if you use a Bluetooth dongle, make sure you have it connected to a USB port, not a USB HUB.
