I've opend an account with Tiscali, entered the ISP details into my Ipaq.

The Ipaq is talking to the nokia 7600 by IR, because the 7600 starts dialling the number... but it disconnects immediately.

If I dial the number on the phone myself, I get lots of pleasing modem sounds.

So why does the phone dial the number for me, but not the Ipaq...?

HELP!

What iPAQ are you using? Is it a Pocket PC OS 2002 or Windows Mobile 2003?

It's an Ipaq 1930 running Windows Mobile 2003.

I've now tried both IR and Bluetooth - the two talk to one another, but as soon as the mobile begins dialling the number, it drops the line. When I dial the number manually, it works.

From your iPAQ are you entering the number a +[country] [area] [number]? Do you have it set to use Location?
