Wondering if its possible to modify the source code of the connection manager. I believe its currently set to 3 attempts & we are authenticating against an RSA ACE server. This is our only secure network entry point.
We are using RSA's soft token id software (very similar to a fob with Pin changing every 60 seconds) on pocket pc 2003 device & when I enter an incorrect PIN the problem appears to be that the connection manager doesn't query the user after the 1st unsuccessful authentication attempt. Rather it retries 3 times & this impacts the RSA server disabling the token. So I dont get the chance to try to enter the correct PIN. The connection manager never gives me the chance.
Is anyone using a similar architecture?
A curly one. Any advice appreciated.
