Hi, On my android phone I could go into settings and check what drains the battery, I cant find anything on this Nokia.  Does anyone know an app that would show that,

Normally I get 3 days easy on the battery on this Nokia 720.  For the last 2 nights I have gone to bed 10pm with 94 % battery remaining.  At 7am the phone has switched off. I turn it on and message comes up battery critical low charge immediately.
in settings, I have all background tasks blocked but it still drains
Yesterday when I charged the battery there were 11 updates waiting so I did those but battery flat this mornig

there are currently no apps that can tell you what app is draining the battery

does it still happen if you reboot?
have you installed any new apps recently that use background agents?
are any of your email accounts continually synching?

I have accu weather but have background task turned off.  HOWEVER i found a very important fact I missed.  Dont know how it happened but the phone must have reset itself as the date reverted to 1st June 2009.  I dont often look at date on phone so guess that may have been the cause of battery drain.  All set so will see how goes tonight.  Also strange why it was only at night and not during the day it drains. Will update tomorrow how goes tonight

go to settings, then swipe right to applications. have a look what is running in the background tasks. try killing them one by one and see what stops the drain. It is also worth looking in the accounts and see if there are any accounts syncing too often. I had an account start syncing every few seconds, you could see it going grey as it synced and then back to solid, changing it back to push stopped that. not sure why it started skitching out in the first place.

good news. last night went to bed 99% battery.  this morning 98% remaining.  So it seems to have been caused throught the date reverting to 2009 .  So will have to be vigilent and actually check the date more often.  Of course I still dont know why it reverted in first place and probavly never will.

Red is the colour I prefer too but to get it I had to buy from Expansys in Hong Kong.  Absolutely no regrets about doing that -- my 720 is rock solid.  The other day I played music through the speaker for about 3 hours and it only drained the battery down to 90%.  My previous phone would be completely flat after 2 hours playing music.

I got a yellow one.  Would have preferred white but choice was yellow or black.  I can actually easily see the screen in bright sunlight as well much easier than my 820 even
