After every sync Pocket explorer is completely blank. To view web pages I must go to TOOLS/OPTIONS/ADVANCED and reselect a language from a blank drop down list.

What can I do to to prevent my language setting from deleting at every sync?
I restored the regisry from a previous backup. Problem solved!

It sounds like some configuration was lost. You might have to hard reset the device to restore it to the factory defaults.

If you decide to do this way, remember to do an ActiveSync and backup everything you need from this Pocket PC, because a hard reset will erase all information completely. You'll need any installation program to reinstall applications you've installed too.

Restoring the regitry may have deleted any information on new programs you have installed since the last backup.
