Hi,

I have an iPaq 3970 running Windows Mobile 2003.

I currently have activesync using Bluetooth, it works great.

I also have set up Bluetooth for Internet Connection Sharing. I seems to get screwed up anytime I try to add another communication service to the iPaq.

I have tried to connect Sony Erricson bluetooth phones and it seems to make changes to my Bluetooth ICS setting, now the setting is trying to dial out!!!!

Also, about a month ago, I was trying to set up my cell phone (CDMA, non bluetooth) to connect to my iPaq to use as a modem. I have a Suppynet cable to connect my Kyocera 2255 phone to iPaq. It worked on my previous iPaq 3870 (PPC2002) and carrier supplied software. The software does not work with Windows Mobile 2003 and the when I use the Supplynet instructions, I get conflicts with Bluetooth ICS.

Has anyone encounted this issue or could provide assistance.

Thank You in advance,

Golfman32

What kind of conflicts you mean? It's like "connected automatically to one and now it doesn't" or similar?

Mauricio,

I am sorry, it was about a month ago, from what I can remember, the bluetooth ICS setting seemed to mix with the dial up modem settings.

Also, I tried a GSM bluetooth phone to see if I could connect and it seems to have changed my bluetooth ICS settings, when I try to connect via bluetooth, the iPaq starts to dial a phone number. Weird.

I will try to recreate the issue this week.
