My partner has a Nokia 520 for her work phone, anyway, I wanted to put an app on it for her, so we used her Hotmail account over our wifi to access the store. At this present point in time, its not set up with her work email settings, but now she wants the Hotmail account removed. I have tried long pressing the account and all it gives me is a sync option.  I don't really want to reset the phone if I don't have to, so is there a way of deleting the account?  I am also guessing here, but I have a feeling that once the work email is set up, then the Hotmail account should be able to be deleted as there will be a primary and secondary account.  Correct?

The first hotmail/live.com/skydrive/outlook.com account that you sign in into the phone becomes the official Microsoft account for that phone. You will need to hard reset the phone in order to remove it.

Do whatever you want to do man.

The first Microsoft account added to the phone becomes hardcoded and a hard reset required to remove

On Windows Phone 7/8 to remove the primary account, you must wipe it to factory stage.

Thanks for the replies. I will just reset it and reinstall the app when she gets it set up.
