I really like this phone, but it's also starting to frustrate me.

Latest issue is that it has started registering phantom touches across the top of the touchscreen. Very annoying as when it happens it tends to flick the page in from the right and\or activate random items.  For example when it happens on the home screen it randomly activates tiles or flicks right to the app list then randomly activates one of them. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all, but others it's so bad that the phone is almost unusable.

It's persisted through a hard-reset and is quite apparent in the "MultiTouch test" app as it registers multiple random touchs across the top of the screen when I'm not touching the phone at all.

anybody had any experience with this sort of thing on a Lumia?  Time to take it back to the store or any other ideas on what to try?

If it persists through hard resets it sounds like a hardware problem and get it replaced.

Have you tried dialing down the touch setting - the one that is meant to enable use while wearing gloves?

Settings - "display + touch", swipe right to get to touch and make sure sensitivity is set to Normal
