I'm looking for a spare charger cable for my HTC snap phone. Specs says it's USB A to miniUSB but after Googling and Wikipedia searching I can find no picture of this particular miniUSB connector.  It's rectangular with a slant keyway on one of the 4 corners.

Anyone know the name of it and a good place to get a cable ?

Thanks.

Even though it looks proprietary the normal mini USB cables fit

With USB because each end is different type A refers to the plug for the PC end, and Type B is the plug for the device end.

So what you want is probably this: http://www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?z=p&p=CABDNX6016

Thanks for that. Just whats needed.

You may know something else (I've just got my first smart phone) and downloaded an App to save text messages etc. to a PC - to find it only does 20 messages until I buy it. So how do I get rid of it? There doesn't seem to be any delete or uninstall options!?

Probably best to start another thread, but you'll need to tell us what OS your phone is running.

It sounds like the app is installed on your PC, not your Windows Mobile device?
