Hi

A question.  Im getting a new laptop for work reasons and im looking at the HPDV6209 with Windows Vista (its got a good package deal at the moment).  As it doesnt have a PCMCIA slot that suits my data card (sierra 580) I would like to use my treo 700w as a a dial up modem (i do this at home on my home pc that runs xp).

I know that I will have to use the data cable but I dont want to spend the $$ on a new lap top and find its not going to work with DUN.  HAs anyone used the treo 700w as a modem on a lap top running vista?

Thanks

N.

Sorry I can't help much - I am running Windows Vista 64 bit and couldn't install the unsigned drivers I had at the time. It may be different on 32 bit though.
