the speakers in my hp ipaq 6815 does not work
i am not able to hear any sounds during calls either...
i have tried checking the settings,notification,etc..
there is no play back for media player aswell.....

real messed up here...greatly in need of help here.....

Could it be related to the headset? HAve you used a corded headset with your Pocket PC? Perhaps the connector is stuck, in which case you should insert the headset again to see if it is still working. If this is the case you will probably take it to repair.

If this is not the case, I suggest you hard reset the device. Make sure you have backup copies of any important files.

different model but i look after a bunch of iPAQ rw6965 and I've had 3 of them simply stop making any sounds. all under warranties, and HP simply swapped them out for brand spanking ones, but i'm pushing them to see if its an issues. 1 was DOA with no sound, and the others failed after a few weeks. Hard and soft resets didn't resolve the issue either.
