I haven't been following the Windows Phone updates closely - I know I got GDR2 weeks back and thought GDR3 was a way away.

This morning I woke up to the "Update ready" screen. I clicked update and it spent a fair bit of time updating and rebooted a couple of times\migrated data\etc but I can't really see any changes. When I check the version it seems I'm still on GDR2 (8.0.10328.78 - not sure what what the actual version number was on before but I already had Data Sense, etc) Just curious what the update might have been?

(I have a Telecom Lumia 920 running on vodafone)

But given I'm actually on Vodafone, could I now use Vodafone 4G if I wanted to...?

So anyone who are on Telecom are getting 4G updated Lumia 920? (so far around Auckland CBD I only get "H" or "H+" on the phone)

I have the feeling is that that it is not accessible by everyone yet and the ROM update is pretty much getting to 4G-ready ....

The Telecom 4G service is not available to public yet. This is just to prepare the handsets.
