Without repeating, as this topic has already been covered here http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=6&topicid=10132 I did a hard reset but still the same problem.

I am trying to share an internet connection from my laptop. My pda is an Ipaq hw6915 and I never had any problems before. What should the settings be (both on laptop and pda)? A connection exists, browsing and other internet tools aren't functioning.

Follow that discussion, download VxUtil and use it to check that your Pocket PC is actually connected...

I don't know what medicine VxUtil contained but I'll tell you what happened. I downloaded this utility, put my hp on the cradle and suddenly activesync was not working anymore. I did a troubleshoot and this asked me to change some settings in the McAfee Personal Firewall. There was a file missing and I followed the instructions. ActiveSync problem solved I synchronized hp with laptop, and VxUtil was installed. I opened vxutil to see what it does and I don't know how I found myself in a section of this utility where I could look up hosts. I gave it a few web addresses and it gave me their IP address. I went to Internet Explorer and voila` ! I can now surf the net.

Thanks, finally I can rest now :)
