  • BBS : Not connected/ Dont have it anymore.
  • Cant connect to to BB World due to inactive BBS
  • Cant format as i need all 1890 contacts.

Are you on vodafone? If so, bis is free on any post paid plan. What are you going to restore this backup to?

any idea of the cost?

back it up to anything really, would prefer csv or excel. used to sync it with outlook, probably the easiest.

As zocster says, BIS is free on any On Account plan with Vodafone - including the open term plans, which start from $29. :)

As for the contacts, if you pop into a retail store, they'll be happy to transfer the contacts from your Blackberry to another device, free of charge, from which you can then export the contacts into a more useful format.

Cheers,

Thanks everyone.
Seems like Telecom were shafting me, unless these vodafone plans are recent (6months or so).

Thanks, quite easy to transfer contacts with BIS. Without BIS is a nightmare!
Excel or csv is always great as many devices/software/operating systems allow it.
