I have an Ipaq 2210 rom version 1.1 Win Mobile / Win XP Desktop / Broadband and Belkin USB Adaptor.....

Using the excellent guides on this forum I have managed to get active sync via bluetooth working correctly.

Followed the guides to get the internet via bluetooth working, used the bluetooth wizard on Ipaq, it connects up with desktop instantly, then after a second or so, starts to try and dial the GPRS settings I have for connected IPAQ with Nokia 6600 when out and about.

When I tried to change the connection settings on IPAQ it still defaults to trying to connect via GPRS. The guide on this forum shows it connecting to BT network.

I am obviously doing something wrong but cannot resolve the connection settings on IPAQ.

Anyone able to tell me what I am obviously doing wrong.......

Thanks in advange

It sounds like an incomplete configuration on your desktop. When it's incorrect the Pocket PC will try the default connection - in your case it's probably the GPRS.

Check for firewalls. Also check that if you're using ICS the Bluetooth adapter must be 192.168.0.1 and you can enter the ISP's DNS server addresses there. And if your Pocket PC asks for a username and password when trying to connect to your computer, simply leave both empty and check the box "Remember password".
