Hi All,
Just wanted to share my experiences.

I got 2 minor scratches to my 1020 screen somehow about 2 weeks after getting it, so decided I needed to protect it ASAP.

I got a screen protector from mobicity.co.nz, then went on the scrounge for cases. I am a fan of the fold over wallet style. I've gone through 2 so far:

Wallet Case Flip Cover for Nokia Lumia 1020 Camera Phone with Abacus24-7 RFID Blocking Sleeve (Black)

Really thick - has a plastic insert to hold the phone. Thickness means it really protects the phone, I dropped mine a bunch of times (stag do) with no damage. Unfortunately the thickness makes it too big for a suit jacket pocket and you really forget what a beautiful slim phone the 1020 is.

Can hold up to 4 cards, but that makes the bulkiness worse. The plastic insert started coming away from the case (it is glued) after 3 months of reasonably hard use. The magnetic clip still works fine - did not notice any impact to GPS/compass.

I decided I didn't want to hide the yellow - so I got the following:
Nokia Lumia 1020 Low Profile Faux Leather Wallet Case with Viewing Stand - By Covert (Yellow)

Similar design but MUCH slimmer. The yellow is not the same as the phone, much more orange - but still looks good. Being slimmer it fits well into a suit jacket pocket. Where the previous one was level with the camera bump, this one is slightly slimmer but has a plastic ridge around it so it doesn't rest on the bump when flat.

Magnetic clasp works great, no impact. Only holds 2 cards comfortably. Overall much prefer this case. Similar design means I expect similar problems with the insert coming away from the case - probably just a hot glue gun job.

Both ordered from Amazon US with Youshop.
