Enjoying my WP8 experience on my 520, however having some fun with "People".

Got fed up with being spammed with peoples birthdays etc, so removed all accounts from the phone except my personal POP3, Microsoft Account (outlook.com) and my work account.
Then proceeded to clean up my Outlook.com People list, deleted 2/3 of the contacts there.

So far so good...

Now when I look at my phone, all those Outlook.com contacts are still there (after 48hrs). What have I missed ?
I can delete them but shouldnt have to as they were deleted from Outlook.com....  (and the phone evens warns you that deleting from the phone will delete from Outlook.com and vice versa)

Those contacts are not stored in any of the other email accounts I use.

What have I missed ? (Prob something simple)

A pain. Windows Phone syncs all your contact (Twitter, Facebook, Outlook, Gmail) to Microsoft Account. And then it lives there forever.

Seriously considering Windows Phone a pain just for that.
