I have an IMate JAMin which is brilliant for me, except that it has one major problem.
When it goes into Deep Sleep Mode it will not wake up again. I have to reboot the PPC in order to use it. In this state it shows the green or blue (or both) LED's but will not wake up, not even for an incoming call, and these go to message service.
I have tried touching the screen and also any of the buttons, as per the handbook, but I get no response, hence the reboot. The reboot will also take a long time. eg 3 or 4 minutes.
After using the PPC I usually press the power button to set sleep mode, and I can re-awaken it very easily with a single press of this button. However if the PPC has not been used for say 1 hour it seems to go into this Deep Sleep Mode where the LED's are flashing but there is no response to any buttons. Then I need to do a reboot. This behaviour is not always consistent, as sometimes it does remain available.

Any ideas?

Trevor

I would say there's some program causing this... I recommend a hard reset (it erases everything so make sure you have a copy of any files, and delete the partnership on your PC before creating a new one). Don't worry about PIM (Contacts, Email, Calendar, Tasks) as this will come back via ActiveSync from your Outlook or Exchange server  (or other repository).

Then install any programs you have one at a time and see if anything happens.
