I have a fleet of the above devices and want to replace them all with one unit. Telecom had a deal going on for a new Treo 70wx on a 2 year contract with data for $69 and free phone. Our account manager has said it might be hard to take advantage of that deal given we have phones already on contract but it made me think. If I wanted to upgrade those phones, is the Treo 700wx the only Windows Mobile device available on the Telecom network?

Thanks

Larry

For now, yes. There are rumours that a new Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition is coming out soon (probably similar to the Sprint HTC Mogul). And I've heard of a Windows Mobile Smartphone as well.

Hey there

I was advised by a Telecom Rep that yes they will be having a new Windows Mobile device, he advised me that it would be based on the HTC TyTN. Even though I heard that it was going to be the HTC Mogul (PPC-6800) which is better than the TyTN with Windows Mobile 6, 256MB ROM & either 64MB RAM. I was told that October 2007 was a possible release date.

Cheers

Does anyone know  when and what model will be coming out to replace the apache/treo 700wx.  I have read here that it might be the HTC mogul.  Was at a shop today where the rep said there was supposed to be a new pda/smartphone released at the end of July? Any body know when it might come out?

I also heard that there was to be a Clamshell smartphone out in July and I still haven't seen anything any new info yet?

Cheers

UPDATE: if you have a look at Sprints website they have the Mogul and they also have the Motorola i930 smartphone, so as Telecom gets most (if not all) of their phones from them would it be possible that it will be the Mogul....

I also saw in MyMobile magazine that Telecom has the Fusic™ by LG (use 90210 for code) for $699.00 (again Sprint), but it is not on their website.

Cheers
