Has ANYONE successfully configured an SDIO card to work in their PPC?  I've done a search on the net for suggestions on how to do this and there are several pleas for help, but I'm finding very few success stories.  Here's mine:

Unit-Audiovox PPC4100 running WM2003
Wireless Adapter-Spectec WLAN-11b, 802-11b

AFter configuring the adapter and device following the directions that I've found online, I'm getting a very clear and strong signal from my router.  However, when I attempt to browse, I get the error message "the page you are looking for cannot be found."  If I place my unit in the charging cradle and browse, it locates the page without any trouble at all.

I don't understand why this is the case, but it's certainly not very convenient and won't allow me to surf the net anywhere but here, and if that's the case, I might as well use my PC!

Please help me!  We are going on vacation in a few days and I was hoping to utilize the free WiFi the hotels provide.

Yes, actually I just received a Spectec miniSD WLAN card this week and I am using it on my Treo 700wx device with no problem.

First suggestion is to soft reset your device, open File Explorer, browse to \Windows and tap on welcome.exe... Follow the instructions and then soft reset it again.

See how it goes after this.

Next thing, tap Start | Settings | Connections and remove the current settings connecting to your wireless LAN access point. Let the device rediscover it and make sure you select "The Internet" when connecting.

If you still don't get a connection, download and install VxUtil (www.cam.com) and use it to see the information on your network adapter after you connect. See if your Pocket PC is correctly being assigned the IP address, DNS and gateway it should be. If not check your router configuration, etc...
