I am thinking of buying a Nokia 6600, as I would like to use this as a modem for my IPAQ H5550. Does any one have any experience with these two combined, or is there a more suitable phone that I should choose?

The'll work ok together, but since you have an iPAQ you might consider a cheaper Bluetooth enabled mobile phone.

I have a SonyEricsson Z600 and use it for Bluetooth with Ipaq 2210. They work together brilliantly. SE in my limited experience seem to have the Bluetooth technology headstart on Nokia.

I have a Compaq Ipaq 3975 with built in bluetooth. I'm looking to change my cell phone provider to one in which I can use a bluetooth cell phone as a wireless modem for my Ipaq. Ideally, I would like one in which they have a very reasonable charge for a lot of usage or a plan that takes the time out of my minutes. What providers have you all had experience with? What could you recommend? Any help you may have is appreciated!

ShellyFM, we're are you located?

In the US AT&T Wireless has just announced a new plan including a Bluetooth mobile phone and EDGE. If you're just after GPRS, T-Mobile has flat rate plans.

I'm in the US. Are you talking about ATT's plan as described at http://www.attwireless.com/business/plans/mobileinternet? I'm not sure how much I would use, but I tend to be a fanatic at checking my e-mail constantly. So, to me, it seemed like there prices might be a bit hefty. Has anyone had experience with these plans?

Yep. Scroll down to $49.99 unlimited for PDA users. I think T-Mobile is $29.99 unlimited.
