Hi,

I am trying to use a bluetooth connection on my old ipaq 3970 and it is fighting me. I undrstand that having Pocket pc 2003 may solve it for me ( I currently have 2002). So I tried to buy 2003, and it has gone from the HP site, they no longer sell it. My question is, can I use any copy of 2003 I pick up from the net? I have got a couple of copies but they scare me because during the opening sequence they both say that the product is specifically for a particular PDA (not the 3970 unfortunately! The Dell Axim and one other I cannot remember)

Alternatively can I use another OS. My fear is tha the 3970 will not be able to handle the newer ones becuase they require too much in the way of memory and processor power.

Thanks Ahead

Adrian

You are pretty much stuck now with Pocket PC OS 2002. The copies of Windows Mobile 2003 for h3970 were some of the early betas, and Bluetooth is one of the features not released then.

My suggestion would be to get a newer Pocket PC...
