Hi guys,

Someone has uploaded the Vodafone WM6 ROM onto the FTP site.

You can download from:

Good news:
- much cleaner than AT&T ROM
- HSDPA enabled by default
Bad news:
- it is slightly older build than the AT&T ROM
- Still need to run Treo Update Recovery Tool if you can't receive phone calls

WM6 build 17746.0.2.4

Btw, if you don't know how to flash this ROM you probably shouldn't be using it yet, or do some searching on

Free memory on first boot: 52.11MB Storage, 26MB Program

And -- I'm sure when the "real" Vodafone ROM comes out -- it will be a similar build. I saw "Insider" saying there will be checks to see if it's the correct version. Sure, but just copy the actual ROM file to your memory card and flash that way :P

Too much trouble - you have to "fix" it to work with Vodafone after all, and after the "fix" it won't get HSDPA again. So better just to wait for the final Vodafone New Zealand release.

Any update on When VFN will at least announce when they intend to release the WM6 update for the 750v - I'm getting tired of WM5 and it's audio issues on this device.... *sigh*

As discussed in the previous thread, it's really close now. Vodafone is preparing the download locations, plus creating ways to authenticate users, etc.

It could probably happen in the next couple of weeks...
