Guys any idea why ANZ is not releasing their Mobile App for Windows alone. Theere are quiet a few number of people who are customers of ANZ but where dragged away from using mobile banking facilities, just because they are having windows phone. Why?? Any idea?

I think one reason is that they were waiting on 8.1 to be rolled out - now thats out, hopefully we'll see something come out soon.... Ive just asked on Twitter to see what they say.

Reply from ANZ....

@DemiseNZ
Hi Gavin, the mobile team are gauging interest & demand for a Win app at the moment. Happy to pass on your feedback. ^MV

I asked them the same last year and this year and got same response as above. No good reason to wait for WP8.1 or 8.0. ASB released their app on Windows Phone 7.5

This just shows that windows phone market is still low and they are not interested yet.

In the mean time you could try the webapps app to wrap their website into an "app"
