Hi, when I turn bluetooth on, my IPAQ freezes. :( I have to do soft reset, and sometime it stays stacked like that  and just blue led is blinking. Sometime soft reset helps to get bluetooth working, but not all time... And what is worst, some time it keeps freezing after restart... I've got wm2003 and I've tried update bluethooth drivers from HP website...

thanx for any help

Is this h3970 running Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2003, and if so did it come from HP, or was one of those beta downloads leaked originally? Bluetooth wouldn't work on those beta in any way.

If it's all legitimate, start by checking how much memory you have available on the device. Low memory prevents the Bluetooth software from loading. You might want to use a program such MAgicButton to close programs when you click the [X] to save memory.

Hi I don't know if its one of first beta versions. I just bought it from mate. Is there any chance to fix it to put there not beta wm2003? How can I find out if its beta or not?

Anyway, thanx for your fast reply ;)

The upgrade is no longer available. You could visit the HP website and look for Buetooth updates for this model or h3870. Also you can try a hard reset to see if it fixes the problem.

I've tried hard reset and BT drivers upgrade from HP site, but it didn't help. I've downgraded it to wm2002 and BT works perfectly, but now I've got problem with TOMTOM... well, anyway thank you ;)
