Hey don't hate on Palm OS, the Treo 650 is a good phone!  And its threaded SMS message system rocks!

If Palm OS was so great, Palm wouldn't be shipping so many models with Windows Mobile on them. The 650 was a fairly average device. You can now get a get a Treo 700wx on Trade Me for under $300. That would be a worthwhile upgrade.

I don't think the reasoning behind them shipping windows mobile devies is because windows mobile is good in anyway, my experience with WinMo is that I would rather be with PALM OS even though its really old etc, I think they just selected WinMo because it's the only option for a modern OS, with a large userbase, other than blackberry that they obviously can't get...
