I have three Apaches here, all boot up fine, with following issues:

One has cracked plastic over screen, works fine, cant get past the screen alignment, as the top right hand click works, but is clearly not exact enough alignment.

One has no visible damage, touch screen doesnt work in center (about size of 5c piece)

One has perfect touch screen, but random reboots (or sometimes no boot at all)

So I can at least get one going (probably the 2nd one described). Is the screen easy to swap out?

Also saved 3 x Harriers before they got thrown out (literally), and one is nearly brand new!

Swapping the screens is easy to do but keep the screws sorted as they do not like going back in the wrong holes

Also watch the camera macro lens and the volume controls when re-assembling, they are easily borken and impossible to repair.

I need a board for mine as the Radio had gone AWOL (liquid damage, argh) though WM6 works perfectly as a PDA.

Harriers are still kind of useful but so out-of date now, mine developed battery draining issues.

have you tried reflashing the unstable apache with a different rom version?

also, how much do you want for one of the harriers you have? (are you open to offers?)

It had problems before the flash to WM6. It was really only a guinea pig for the WM6 rom in case it waxed them.

I cleaned it and the intermittent network it had turned into dead QualcommMSM

Inane, How do you overclock the harriers to 1GHZ? I have two awaiting to be hacked!

No, havent tried flashing it, but I will...

Sorry, the Harriers have just all been spoken for, 2 back to the original owner, and one for a workmate who desires a PDA.
