Whats the easiest way to turn off/disable GPRS/3G data services on a Palm Treo 750 and leave voice running ok?

Scenario: employee off overseas on a trip, want him to voice roam ok but do not want to data roam (@ 0.30/10k).

I've just come back from the states, and to get around the same problem, I just made a new connection via com port to ring hte number 5.

After a couple of minutes it gives up trying to connect.  And means I didn't loose whatever settings i had stored.
