Did anyone ever own a Classic? Were they good (back in the day), and would you want one today?

Next question is which company here will offer this device, if any?

I have 4 different models of blackberry sitting in my desk now.  all obsoleted by migrating to Iphone.
They were great, but their time has come and gone for a recovery to what they once were.  Especially with needing to use the BES services in addition to an account.
Can get better value for less than what we were paying

BIS is no longer required for new devices, the only downside, is that you can not use 2Degrees. Skinny, Vodafone and Telecom are all fine, even prepaid.

Interesting, why 2Degrees won't work with Blackberry devices?

Something about they never been setup to access the BB apn to begin with, where telecom/skinny and vodafone have had BIS for years.

BB10 devices work on two degrees. What doesn't work is BBM on blackberry devices on two degrees. This should work as BB10 no longer requires BIS. It looks like two degrees block the port used by BBM if it's a blackberry device. BBM on android works fine on two degrees. It's odd.
