Hi Guys,

Obviously everyone knows about the issues re: alarms on any WM/CE Device - and their lack of appearing.

I have a unit (Treo 700wx) here that when I first sync it flashes through all reminders for previous appointments in my calendar, and then the alarms cease to function.

I have been researching and the Check Notification App seems to be a possible fix, but has anyone tried this in WM5? Or more specifically for the Treo 700? http://www.scarybearsoftware.com/product_detail.php?productname=checknotify

I read that the development team are looking to fix the issue as well - let's hope they do after so long!

Alternatively, is there any way to actually force Activesync to only sync the last 2 weeks of appointments - I have selected the option on both the device and in Activesync but it seems determined to want to sync everything!

Cheers

Have a look at this thread and my post in it:

As well as the fix I mention there I've had limited success with using PocketMechanic to clean up the notification queue on my WM5 HTC P3600. PocketMechanic didn't break anything, but didn't seem to help with the exact problem I was having. It did fix some other calender reminder wierdness I was having though.
