I am looking for an application that is simple to install what when my PDA is connected via Activesyc 4.5, my device and device screen can be viewed as well as used on my laptop screen.

I saw an application on Mel Sampet demo of his facebook outsync application, I could not catch the name of the application. He was able to have his smartphone screen show up on his desktop.

Thanx

Dave

You should look at SOTI Pocket Controller. It's what I use...

There are a few options.

Microsoft PPC power toys

This can be difficult to get running according to this site

PocketVNC

And host of commercial products (e.g. SOTI)

A good, slightly dated roundup here .

I can't brain today. I have the dumb.

The Microsoft PowerToy is free but it won't work on all Windows Mobile 6 or Windows Mobile 5.0 devices.

SOTI is the best option because you can actually manage the device, take screenshots, capture screen movies, synchronise files, soft reset, hard reset, run a command line and a lot more from its interface.

Mauricio and Mutly,

Thank You,

I will try eval of Soti, I have downloaded, it looks awesome.

After the eval, I need to justify the cost to myself.

Thanx

Dave

Chiefie,

Thank You for the suggestion.

The cost is excellent, how does My Mobiler compare to Soti?

Try it out. It works for what I want, remotely control my JasJam via ActiveSync (USB). Seems to be able to take screenshots, and use your mouse and keyboard for input.
