howdy. i have an imate jasjam, i have just recently returned from aussie and bought my phone with me. it is an jasjam.
i have it set up for vodafone new zealand now
I would like to know what radio version i should be using on it.
also any other stuff i should have on it or updated, would help.

Is there a way to have a constantly reminder (like it does for appointments) that there is a new unread txt message until it has been read?

Welcome to Geekzone! You shouldn't need to worry about the radio version at all, but if you need an update you are well downloading the update from Club i-mate... As for the SMS notification, by default it should show an envelope in the top when a new SMS arrives and stays there until you read it. If not, tap Start | Settings | Sounds and Notifications, switch to Notifications and you will find "New SMS" in the list.
