Hi

I have an IPAQ running windows CE with a small app on it. I'm trying to get via the browser (pocket IE) to launch notepad on the PDA on a button press in the browser but it won't launch.

I have seen various reviews for netfront - would this fix it or is it something I am missing (probably obvious...security settings perhaps ???)

I think this is covered under security settings. Browsers shouldn't be able to launch an application on the machine. You never know if there's a malicious script out there that starts something like a batch file that deletes everything...

Thanks, I'll try and remove some of the security for now but looking into some more research it looks like pocket IE may not support it anyway. When I get it working I'll post it on this link.
