Hi
Not sure what has happened but as of yesterday I have not been able to sync my Titan to WMDC and the informative error messsage is in full "error" - that's it!

It has been working flawlessly since I got both Vista laptop and Titan connecting together via BT. I have deleted the partnership and re-established with no luck. I searched forum and found advice about dropping windows firewall, diagnosing and repairing outlook and still no joy. I am running WMDC 6.1.

My googling seem to have found a lot of people with the same problem but no real solution.

Any ideas?

Solution found!
Use system restore - this make it worse.
Uninstall Windows Mobile Device Center
Reinstall - still wont work.
Download again WMDC
Turn off and on Antivirus programme (this is probably and unnecessary step)
Unistall / Reinstall - still wont work.
Remove device in BT settings on Titan.
Turn off and on firewall several times - doesnt help
Uninstall all WMDC and insert Titan install CD - nothing changes but wastes another hour browsing the CD.
Uninstall WMDC - Reinstall WMDC but hold tongue slightly out and to the right. (This doesnt actually help but it gives the appearance that you actually know what you are doing)
Double click WMDC and it will show connecting (again) then go to the toilet - come back and da dah!! IT WORKS!!

oops - forgot to add numerous restarts of computer at different random stages and also cursing at various times but ensure your children are not within earshot.
