Hi All,
I spend a lot of time at work/on the ferry listening to music or podcasts with my headphones on (Sennheiser HD280 Pros).

My issue is that having to flip open my cover, then double tap screen, then pause take way too long if someone needs to talk to me. Similarly having to pull my phone out to change track is a pain.

I loved having controls on the headphones (as the stock ones did), however I far prefer my Sennheisers.

I'm after either:
1. An adapter that I can plug the headphone cable into that provides the playback controls (just pause/play/skip is fine).
2. A bluetooth device that will enable me to do the same.

Option 2 looks promising, but most of them are smart watches - and I don't really want to spend hundreds for the sake of a pause button.

Handset is a Lumia 1020.

I'm having a dig around dx.com without much luck - and most devices only state support for iOS/Android.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Bah typical - as soon as I ask:

Something similar to THIS:
http://www.dx.com/p/earphone-line-remote-connector-with-clip-for-nokia-n81-1m-33718

Which will support the 1020.

And even more Typical:

Has anyone tried headphones with android controls on a recent Lumia?

Android in-line controls, e.g. Xiaomi Mi Pistons, work just fine with Lumias.

iOS in-line controls will work for play/pause, but not for volume up/down.
