Ive been searching around for day's now for a java plugin for Pocket IE on my HTC Apache. Through my travels I stumbled upon

NetFront Browser v3.5 for ppc. Before I fork out the cash, I would like to know if this browser would support websites such as youtube, and Runescape (Dont laugh at me lol). Any help would be appreciated.

 Thanks,
    -Kryptoxian.

You don't need Java for YouTube - you need Javascript and Flash Player. Your best option is Opera for Pocket PC and Flash Player 7.0 for Pocket PC. Opera has a 30 day trial and Flash Player is free.

Alright thankyou,

Do you have any advice on tracking down a JVM plugin for any mobile browsers or is at as hopeless a cause as it seems?

Thanks,

If you specifically want a JVM plugin then Netfront is the way to go. I had some good experiences with Netfront, and would say it can run 80% of Java aplets around - there are some that won't run no matter what you try...

I think i'll download the trial version of netfront and see how it pans out, all ive heard is good things about opera so that also seems like a very attractive option. Curse Sun for their limited support of mobile platforms!

I don't think the trial version of NetFront comes with the JVM though.
