Newbie here

Hey guys, I've been searching for software etc etc to use to fax documents from my Titan.

Found one!(KSE Truefax 2004)  YAY! 15 day trial............ but It keeps telling me it  times out.

Im trying to fax to 0800 numbers.

Now im getting frustrated coz i've tried almost everything, my understanding is, like a land line, you should be able to DIAL, hear the fax on the other end... then the file  sends.... etc

So.... is this how it'll work with our mobile phones, shouldnt it work on that concept, if so, can anyone tell me how? Please.

Thanks Alot.

I would first test this with a number you know can accept calls from mobile phones. Many 0800 numbers block calls from cellular handsets because of cost - so when this software is timing out it could possibly be something else...

Next check the program's documentation. I don't think you can call and then switch to the program - perhaps the program needs to dial.

Then make sure your account allows fax. Not all mobile services allow fax... Better to call Telecom and ask if you can send a fax from your mobile.

Cool, thanks mate, just got another question.

Would faxing be charged as a phone call or a data call? Isnt it more of an analog data service, like dial up modems etc?

Anyways will follow your process and we'll see how it goes.
