The sistuation is that I have Bluetooh and Wifi on my PDA. I'm with Wifi on my PDA connected to two shares on my desktop.
When I start Bluetooth on my PDA while Wifi is running, everything is ok. It's when I make the activesync connection that I lose my network shares, they can't be reached. I can still browse the internet though with my wifi, it's just that I can't browse my LAN anymore. Everything turns to normal when I disconnect Activesync.

Anyone any clue where to look, because I've been searching for hours now, tried all kind of things, but nothing seems to help.

I use Bluetooth 5.01 Widcomm with Bluetooth 2.0 on a PDA with WM5 and Activesync 4.5

Welcome to Geekzone. What you are seeing is normal behaviour.

ActiveSync will automatically disconnect and disable Wi-Fi access while your Windows Mobile devices is plugged in (either via USB or Bluetooth).

You can still have Internet connection on your Pocket PC because by default ActiveSync will share the desktop connection with it.

If I am not mistaken, on Windows Mobile 6 (and some newer Windows Mobile 5.0 builds) there's an option you can set to keep Wi-Fi active while ActiveSync is connected.

Thank you! My wife is going to be happy with you, because you saved me a lot of hairs!

Interesting. I'm not thinking about moving WM6 though, but a newer build of 5 that has it would be great (crossing fingers here).

Thanks for your help!
