Hi all,
Ive just got a 4150 and i love it! I have it set up so i can sync with Exchange on my SBS2003 server when im on the LAN through wireless and that works a treat.

I also have bluetooth set up to my nokia 6600 so i can dial up to Freeserve and access the internet while im out of the office.

Now, my ADSL router in the office supports VPN (L2TP and PPTP). I can connect my laptop on dial up to freeserve, open up a PPTP connection to the router and i can access the office LAN and sync outlook to the exchange server. No problem!

I want to be able to do this to sync my 4150 as well. I have added the VPN info into the work settings, but i dont seem to be able to get a connection to the office LAN and the exchange server when dialing up via my phone.

Has anyone managed this? Any tips and help would be great!

James

It depends on the connection you're using. If you have a NAT address, the VPN will not work. You'll have to check with Freeserve if this is a non-NAT address. There are also other problems with VPN configuration. You have to have your connections set to Work, and make sure no proxy is defined.
