I've been trying to get on the internet on my laptop by using my tilt as a modem.  the problem is that i need to dial to an isp such as aol or earthlink to get connected. I do not have any of those ISP. However, I do have the 3G unlimited data plan.  Is there any way I can connect to the internet using my data plan instead of having to dial a number.  I"m currently using vista OS.  thank you very much for the help.

You have two options: USB or Bluetooth.

For USB use check on your Tilt CD that you have the required modem drivers, and install them (if you have an .inf file on that CD simply right-click it and select "Install").

Then on your Tilt look for the Internet Connection Sharing application. On this application select USB and click the Start option. Now you can plug the Tilt to your laptop. It will be seen as a router and your laptop should have Internet access from this point.
