I'm a first timer, so I hope this issue is worth people's efforts.

I have a Nokia 6600 I have just read and tried to implement the instructions in the article, 'How to share your internet connection to a Nokia 3650 over Bluetooth.' (The article indicates that the process should work with Nokia 6600.) Everything works as described in setting up the PC and the bluetooth as the gateway to the internet. I have set the Opera Browser's access point on the phone as Telstra.internet (as indicated on the Opera website) But when I try to access the internet through the Opera Browser, nothing happens. The G flashes that it's trying to access, but then nothing.

Any advice? Do I need to set another access point? I am using Telstra (Australia).

thanks,
j.

Nokia has disabled this feature from the newer Series 60 phones. It won't work.

Arrr bummer. I was just trying this on my new 6600 too :(
Still, I guess you can download files/pages and manually send them to the phone.

Now, anyone know how to get Avantgo up and running on the 6600? I've installed it all fine, but it doesn't seem to have any option to sync (hence why I was trying to get the passthrough connection to work).

Ben.
