Hi I have a simple question. I upgraded my apache to Windows Mobile 6 and have no problems until now. I have to change the phone number and the number that I was given ## doesn't work. So I was wondering if there is a different number or can I flash it back to 5. I didn't take a backup when I flashed it by have have taken a backup off another HTC Apache with mtty. When flashing it everything seems to go ok but after a soft reboot it is still M6. Do you guys have any ideas.

Thanks

One way to go back to WM5 is to use the Telecom firmware AKU2.2 ROM that is accessble on the Telecom website.

Before you start, Press the recorder and power button while pressing the reset button. It should just have a blank screen with serial. Run the above update and then change number as normal.

Keep in mind that running unlicensed software (which is what WM6 effectively is) on the TNZ Apache won't be supported by the guys and girls at Telecom, also it voids your warranty if appliable.
