yes it is out for a while now, I think now even Windows Mobile 6.1 is out, apparently WM6 is loaded on OKTA Boss(Smart phone) and Okta Touch(Pocket PC) but I dont know where you can get it for your apache tho.

Windows Mobile 6 is out and coming in new devices. Some manufacturers have released updates for the most recent hardware.

Windows Mobile 6.1 is not out yet.

There is no information about a Windows Mobile 6 release for the HTC Apache, but some rumours of a release for the more recent HTC Titan. The Okta Touch comes with Windows Mobile 6.

So there is no supported versions for the Apache? I saw one on TradeMe just a few mins ago with it on.

Pirated ROM, tweaked, cooked ROM - you call what you want, but it's not official and the warranty is void.

The operating system is flashed into the device from an image which is applied to the flash ROM memory. Generally "ROM" is the file containing this image.
