Hi, could be missing something, but just picked up a 640XL and setup my account as usual....but now its trying to download every app I've ever installed regardless if it was on my old 520 or not.

What am I missing...dont want them all installed :P

The OOBE asks you if you want to restore from a previous handset

Choose the option to not restore

Don't think I did choose to do a restore ..... just added my account and then all these popped up. No worries now, just went through and stopped them all, seems to be behaving itself now :)

Enjoying the larger screen and better camera :D

I did the same - but restored from my 1020 backup. Had to cancel a few downlaods, as my SD card hasn't arrived yet, and 8GB fills up quickly :)
