I've got internet connectivity by putting in wsp://then internet address  but not with http://   Have tried settings till they come out my ears but nothing working....any helpful advice.....

www.vodafone.net.nz  through isp connection not working but work connection is....

Think I will give to Vodafone to send away to get settings set.  Reading through past forums and googling this looks like a regular occurance..no wonder Vodafone no longer sells jasjams or the likes.

NT.

Not the case... It's a configuration issue and nothing to do with the device itself.

It sounds like you have the WAP APN configured on your device. You have to make sure the Connection is configured to use the one of the web APNs, not the WAP APN.

You open Settings | Connections | Connections | Advanced | Select Networks | and make sure both "Internet" and "Work" are using the same connection. Tap OK and open "Select Networks" again. Tap EDIT and make sure the selected connection is using one of the web APNs as listed in the sticky post in our Vodafone forum.

Just because you have difficulty getting to HTTP:// sites doesn't mean Jasjam is flawed and withdrawn from Vodafone's sales. I got my Jasjam, been using it for over a year and flawless. The problem is with your configuration. You can get the right configuration from Club-Imate (if you registered) or even follow Vodafone's Wireless configuration for PocketPC devices.
