I have noticed a problem when I set alarms in my Tasks section. If I set the alarm for say 3:30pm for example on Monday, the alarm will go off Monday morning at the default 8:00am instead of 3:30. Am I missing something, or is there a glitch in the 2003 system?

Thanks.

I haven't noticed this, but I don't use tasks that much. Perhaps it's a reminder in the morning of things due on that date, rather than an alarm when the task was supposed to be completed?

This is a known issue with Pocket Outlook. The only way around it is to use one of the super PIM's. You could also try something like PocketBreeze which may work as you need it to.

The task manager can only set off alarms at 8am. If you create a task and set it for any other time, it will still go off at 8am. It is one of the limitations that MS put in there for some reason.

I personally use Pocket Informant to manage this for me and it does a great job.
