I just purchased an HP iPAQ 4155 and after monkeying around with it between work and home I am nolonger able to passthrough to the internet via my work netork using USB cradle. It synchs up but whenever I tap IE for a URL I get "page not found". I also noticed that when I check settings > advanced > network card > My Nework card connects to: > there is no items in the drop down list.

Async on my workstation has "work" selected as the PPC network under > options > rules On the Async dialog box.

your help is greatly appreciated.

I have mine set to The Internet. Also, is just Pocket Internet Explorer or any software? Can you use VxUtil to ping a server, like www.wired.com?

If you can ping ok, try running \windows\welcome.exe from your Pocket PC, soft reset and try again.

Also check that you haven't changed any firewall settings that could stop this working.

Thanks for replying. I have already corrected the problem. I forced a hard reset and resynced the PPC and it successfully connected. Thanks for your help. In the future I'll try a soft reset first but since the device is only a day old there was no harm in losing data.
