I've just read Mauricio's post on the just-announced new SE smartphone, the XPERIA X1.

Looks nice...VERY nice! I had a feeling that the next SE smartphone would have this form-factor, after the unhappy experiences many have had with the P990i, then the rather...um..."quirky" keyboard on the P1i. And Symbian 9/UIQ 3 doesn't seem to have been a raving success, either!

So well done SE for bringing back the BIG screen, and better, going to the WM operating system (praise indeed from a UIQ 2 user!).

Subject to satisfactory reviews, I'll be having one of these!
