Hi All,

Ok, I bought a MDA Compact 3 on T Mob which runs WM5. It didn't come with pocket msn which I really want (mainly because of MSN msg)!!... however when I try to buy it off the microsoft market place it says that its only for smart phones running wm 2003. Does anyone know where I can buy this prog or have any ideas? Thanks!

Ed

You mean this Pocket MSN? It works fine on Windows Mobile 5 and 6 - I tested it. And if you buy from the Geekzone Store (powered by Handango) you help us keep the site running.

A free alternative is Fring.

I'm not sure if it's necessary to buy it? I've got it pre-installed on my TyTN II.

It depends on the manufacturer and operator.

Before Windows Mobile 6 some manufacturers had Pocket MSN built-in, other didn't. That's why Pocket MSN is offered for sale.

With Windows Moibile 6 again some manufacturers include Windows Live Mobile (including Live Messenger) and some don't.
