I am trying to set up dial up networking on an iPaq using a Globalstar sat phone. In the dial up settings you can only select a Hayes compatable modem on COM1. I also have a brainboxes Bluetooth serial adaptor, and what I want to do is connect the brainbox serial adaptor to the globalstar phone, and use a bluetooth serial connection to talk to the phone. Using a terminal session, I can issue all the right AT commands to the modem, but the connection is on COM8. Does anyone know a way (perhaps manually editing the config file or registry for the dialup settings) to specify a port other than COM1 for the modem connection?

Note that it is not acting as bluetooth dialup networking, it is just a standard modem configuration but on COM8.
